Through our fast-track Care Assistant programme, you’ll receive all the training you need. From starting with essential care skills, you’ll progress to learning to care for patients with tracheostomies, and eventually those who are ventilated, with pay increasing as you gain competence.

About the role: Care Assistant

You’ll begin by delivering personal care to residents in a professional and caring manner, ensuring assigned duties reflect the home’s core values and the Skills for Care Code of Conduct. Documentation must be completed accurately and in a timely fashion, including personal care charts, while escalating concerns about residents’ health or wellbeing to the nurse in charge.

Additional responsibilities include carrying out tasks not directly related to care when requested by the nurse in charge. You’ll join a team that supports each other, work full-time, and develop clinical skills over time, with increasing responsibilities as you complete training modules.
